Product Details

This supplement provides Folate (Vitamin B9) in its highly bioavailable and active form, L-5-Methyltetrahydrofolate (often shortened to 5-MTHF or L-methylfolate). This active form does not require metabolic conversion by the body, making it superior to standard Folic Acid, especially for individuals with the MTHFR gene mutation who may struggle to metabolize Folic Acid effectively. Folate is crucial for normal blood formation, homocysteine metabolism, DNA synthesis (nucleic acids), and the growth of maternal tissue during pregnancy. It also contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, as well as normal psychological and immune function. The product is suitable for vegans/vegetarians.
Recommended Dosage
 
The recommended daily dosage for adults is 1 tablet per day. It is generally advised to take the tablet with water, and some sources suggest taking it 30 to 60 minutes before bedtime, potentially with juice, for optimal absorption. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake unless specifically advised to do so by a healthcare professional.
 
Ingredients
 
Each tablet contains 1000μg (which is 1mg) of Folate in the form of L-5-Methyltetrahydrofolate Calcium (L-5-MTHF). The tablets also contain common excipients such as bulking agents (Microcrystalline Cellulose, Di-Calcium Phosphate) and anti-caking agents (Magnesium Stearate) to form the tablets.

Order Cancellation

You may cancel your order if you wish, without charge, provided that there has been no shipment of products from our headquarters.

Product Return and Refunds

We will do what we can to ensure your happiness with every purchase. So, if you’re not totally satisfied - we can offer a refund as long as it is returned within 14 days of receipt.

Returned products must be new, unopened and in original condition. To return a product, please send an email to info@pharmeden.co.uk to notify us of your intent to return an item or items. Please include your name, the items you plan to return and the reason for the return.

Within 7 days of our receiving your return, your refund will be processed after an inspection and a credit will be automatically applied to your original method of payment. Your refund will include the cost of the item, plus any applicable sales tax.

Please note return shipping fees are responsibility of the purchaser and the original shipping fees paid are non-refundable. Also, refused shipments will not be refunded.
