LACTOTUNE Vaginal acts as a protective shield against excessive growth of causative microbes in the vaginal tract while lowering the pH to restore physiological conditions for the treatment of vaginosis or vaginitis and to prevent resurgence. Furthermore, probiotic bacteria and prebiotic fibres in the product support the recovery of a balanced and healthy vaginal flora and environment.

LACTOTUNE Vaginal treats and prevents vaginosis and vaginitis. It gives relief from itching, burning, dryness, odour and increased discharge, while also aiding the recovery of natural intimate wellbeing. Increased pH level and imbalance in the vaginal microbial flora are two decisive and related factors in the prevalence of vaginal infections. It acts as a natural protective shield against excessive growth of causative microbes in the vaginal tract, while lowering the pH to restore natural physiological conditions for the treatment of vaginal infections, prevention of recurrences and recovery of a balanced and healthy vaginal flora. Probiotic Lactobacillus bacteria and prebiotic fibers added to the product assist its primary activity by displacing causative microbes and contributing to the recovery of a healthy, balanced vaginal flora.

How the product works:

The primary effect of LACTOTUNETM Vaginal is based on the bioadhesive and pH-adjusting compound polycarbophil. It has the ability to stick to mucous membranes, which makes it very useful for application in the vaginal tract, resulting in adhesion of the product to the vaginal tract wall for a long period of time. When introduced to the vaginal tract mucous, the polycarbophil swells by absorbing water, which improves hydration, softness and elasticity of the tissue and forms a hydrated protective layer that inhibits excessive microbes from adhering to the vaginal tract tissue. Furthermore, the polycarbophil has the ability to lower the pH level in the vaginal tract and retain it within the physiological range (pH 3.5-4.5), thus prompting optimal conditions for the natural vaginal flora to recover from vaginosis or vaginitis and diminishing growth conditions for the causative microbes.

Probiotic Lactobacillus bacteria and prebiotic fibers added to the product assist the activity of the polycarbophil by displacing the causative microbes and by contributing to the recovery of a healthy, balanced vaginal flora with Lactobacillus species in a dominant position.

You may cancel your order if you wish, without charge, provided that there has been no shipment of products from our headquarters.

Product Return and Refunds

We will do what we can to ensure your happiness with every purchase. So, if you’re not totally satisfied - we can offer a refund as long as it is returned within 14 days of receipt.

Returned products must be new, unopened and in original condition. To return a product, please send an email to info@pharmeden.co.uk to notify us of your intent to return an item or items. Please include your name, the items you plan to return and the reason for the return.

Within 7 days of our receiving your return, your refund will be processed after an inspection and a credit will be automatically applied to your original method of payment. Your refund will include the cost of the item, plus any applicable sales tax.

Please note return shipping fees are responsibility of the purchaser and the original shipping fees paid are non-refundable. Also, refused shipments will not be refunded.
