VitA-POS is a sterile, preservative-free ophthalmic ointment designed to support the natural tear film and protect the surface of the eye. It is an ideal solution for individuals experiencing discomfort due to dry, burning, or fatigued eyes, often used before bedtime for overnight relief and protection.

How to Use

  • Application: Apply a small strip of ointment (approximately 1 cm) into the conjunctival sac of each eye.
  • Frequency: Typically applied once a day, before bedtime. In more severe cases of dryness, consult your doctor, but it is often recommended to apply 3 times a day.
  • Duration: There is no limitation on the duration of use.

Important Warnings & Precautions

  • Vision Impairment: Due to the greasy consistency, the ointment will cause a slight blurring of vision immediately after application. It is therefore recommended for nighttime use.
  • Contact Lenses: DO NOT use VitA-POS while wearing contact lenses.
  • Other Eye Medication: If you are using other ophthalmic medications, apply them at least 30 minutes before applying VitA-POS.
  • Contraindications: Do not use if there is a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
  • Shelf Life: Use within 6 months after opening.

Ingredient

Retinol Palmitate (Vitamin A) at a concentration of 250 IU/g, along with the excipients Liquid Paraffin, Lanolin, and Petrolatum. The ointment is notable for being sterile and preservative-free.

Cancellations and Returns

Order Cancellation

You may cancel your order if you wish, without charge, provided that there has been no shipment of products from our headquarters.

Product Return and Refunds

We will do what we can to ensure your happiness with every purchase. So, if you’re not totally satisfied - we can offer a refund as long as it is returned within 14 days of receipt.

Returned products must be new, unopened and in original condition. To return a product, please send an email to info@pharmeden.co.uk to notify us of your intent to return an item or items. Please include your name, the items you plan to return and the reason for the return.

Within 7 days of our receiving your return, your refund will be processed after an inspection and a credit will be automatically applied to your original method of payment. Your refund will include the cost of the item, plus any applicable sales tax.

Please note return shipping fees are responsibility of the purchaser and the original shipping fees paid are non-refundable. Also, refused shipments will not be refunded.

All Sale items, Special Discount Offers and purchases made during Special Sales Events (including free shipping, gift with purchase, pop-up, etc.) are final sale and are not eligible for return/refund.
