YOUTH LAB.’s research team, based on recent scientific studies which have shown that not only our brain, but also our skin cells can produce endorphins (our bodies’ very own “happiness hormones”) looked at possible ways to control cortisol levels, in order to reduce the negative effects of stress onto skin. Thus, a phyto-endorphin complex was incorporated into a range of daily care products, consisting of shower gels and body lotions, to reduce the negative effects of stress onto skin and contribute to the creation of a sense of euphoria and relaxation.
